Hi,

AFAIK the "Job" settings are intended to allow you to group bills/invoices 
together for a specific contract/client.  I had a dabble once, a few years 
back, but it seemed more trouble than it was worth, since I couldn't apply a 
job no. to non A/P & A/R items.

Isn't this in the concepts guide?  (Haven't looked at that for ages, either!)
