my Quicken will not create a .qif, what can I do?

There are the other suggestions to start afresh on the start of the new 
financial year with Gnucash
run the old system in a virtual machine as long as required
and eventually leave it behind

I don't regret the move from quicken to Gnucash although I can't recall when I 
actually did it now
