When would I replay a .log file?

I am familiar with restoring an earlier .xac file. Thankfully, I haven't had
to do it for a while.

I see that replaying a .log file is an option on the File menu. When would I
want to do this?

It is risky asking two questions in one post, but when I am entering data in
two-line ledger mode, is there a keystroke to enter the same amount in both
lines? I thought that I saw a reference to one in a post some time ago. It
would be particularly useful when editing the amount in a Scheduled
Transaction already entered. Like the gent who wanted a system bell, I have
typing difficulties (he wasn't old: I am 65.)

(BTW, I really like the symbol for a Gnu used as a favicon on the Wiki.)

Doug.
