clear gnucash

I want to completely remove gnucash and ALL of its old data and start from scratch. Somehow I always end up with last years data ready to go. I want all of it gone. I have gone into program files and deleted all the gnucash files I can find. Uninstalled a couple of times and installed new version and files still there. What can I do?
