problem with Bills Due Reminder window

All,

The Bills Due Reminder window won't open.  It was opening today while I
had April due dates.  I also have some May due dates but they
didn't show.  After I paid the last item with an April date, the Bills
Due Reminder window stopped opening.

Any ideas?

I'm using 2.2.4 on Ubuntu 8.04.
