Reports/Budgets with multiple time periods?

Thanks Derek. Pity, I suspected that might be the case though. I am a
developer myself and I'm by no means afraid of doing a bit of coding to
generate the kind of report I want/need, especially if it will be helpful to
others (as seems to be the case). You say that it's not necessary to
recompile GnuCash for that purpose though, what exactly is required for
report development then? I'm afraid I've never used scheme (mostly c++ and
related languages), but I've had a little exposure to report development on
Axapta, so I'm sure I could figure some of the stuff out.
