Assets over time

Hi to all,

I'd like to show assets over time value for one Fund I bought, using
Fund prices updated with Price Editor.
This is what I do:
Reports->Assets & Liabilities -> Asset Barchart
A barchart with my total libilities value vs time is shown.
Now I edit the chart to have only one of my liability shown (the Fund).
I click on "options" ; in "General Tab" I select "Price Source" as
"Nearest in Time" and "Step Size" to "Week"; in "Account" tab I clear
all default selection and I highlight the one I am interest in, only.
Now, when I click "update" I receive the following message instead of
the chart I expect: "No data -The selected accounts contain no
data/transactions (or only zeroes) for the selected time period".
Actually in the Fund movements there are no records (except the
initial bought of Stocks) but I expect to have the chart showing the
Funds value trend in time, using the values recorded in "price
editor".
Do you have any clue?
