Customizing Customer Invoices

Hello,

One would think that searching for 20 minutes via Google and GnuCash forums
would have solved this problem, but oddly, I can't seem to find a straight
answer anywhere!

Hopefully someone can help me:  I am trying to make customized business
invoices for my customers. When I go to Reports -> Business -> Fancy
Invoice, I am taken to the normal GnuCash invoice template. However, I would
like to customize the Extra Notes and the way that it says "Makes Cheques
payable ...." to "Make Checkes payable ...." and maybe some other changes. 

Well, when I make those changes and print the invoice, they are NOT saved.
Everytime I open a new invoice, I have to retype all of my customizations. 

Is there a way to permanently save my changes to the layout of a customer
invoice?
